North of Port Augusta

Getting past port augusta was good for 2 reasons.

We were no longer in port augusta
We had our first real glimpse of genuine desert Up the road a bit we stopped off at Glendambo and saw a cool wall that gave us an insight into the history of this place famous for a cool wall.
